What's in a year?
All of our family is born and raised in Arkansas. Farming gets in your blood at young age and never leaves. From the smell of fresh plowed ground in the spring to seeing your breath during the early chilly mornings in the fall, the farm is best place to be. Yes, its busy. Yes, we get tired, and yes, we need family counseling after working cows and bailing hay together but there is a lot to be gained from working together on the farm as family and building something for the future generations.

Cattle
We are a commercial cow/calf operation that is 365 days a year and for some reason cattle want to break out Sunday afternoons. We AI and natural breed our cows using registered bulls. From calving, to vaccinating and worming, to weaning, and then selling there is always some excitement through-out the year. We provide farm to plate beef that is grass fed, grain finished, antibiotic and growth hormone free.
Sprigging
One of our friends sprigged our first 50 acres years ago and after watching it grow, we became believers in sprigging. We invested in the equipment and began sprigging everything we own and where applicable, where we lease. We are always interested in leasing more property, so if you like cash rent give us a call or if you are ready to turn your land into a high yielding grass farm, we can sprig it for you. Contact us!
Bailing Hay
As you can tell from the previous pages, we bale most all types of grass hay from squares to rounds to big bales. If we don't grow it, we can get it from other states. We feed horses, cattle, goats, etc. The above picture is peanut hay. This is the ultimate "Cow Chow" of the south. We feed it to our cattle and it is a "weight producer." The feedlot folks grind it but we feed it 1 peanut - 2 grass bales. It is generally the last thing we bale each year, and we sell out quickly so book you peanut hay early.
Transporting Hay
We are not necessarily truckers, but we have a lot of friends who are professionals. Being located in the row crop area of Eastern Arkansas and 40 minutes outside of Memphis, transportation anywhere is readily available. We will arrange trucking or you as the customer can set it up. If needed, we can unload for you and stick in the barn. We are here to serve you.
